What are Adult Affiliate Programs?

Everybody realizes there’s lots of money in the ‘adult’ business, but not everyone knows that there’s more to it than only ‘adult films’. No matter what your website is concerning, assuming it’s in some way adult related, you can make cash by means of an adult affiliate program.
Adult affiliate programs range greatly from what a large amount of people think of when we think ‘adult’ from sex toys, BDSM sites, cam sites, adult dating sites and more. There’s a lot of adult-related sites in existance that you can market without having to take the road of of porn. I will examine some of these programs here:
1. Adult product programs
Sex toys are really diverse and their affiliate programs can work well with any number of websites. Sex toys themselves can vary from the typical dildos and vibrators through bondage gear, more extreme BDSM equipment, sex machines, sex furniture (for instance the Liberator) and more.
You can advocate sites or even specific toys that your guests may like, one well-liked ‘classy’ line of marital aids is the Lelo line. 2. Webcam sites
Webcam sites are quite popular, and there are a TON of them around. Be cautious when picking an affiliate as there are lots of disreputable, fly-by-night businesses out there. It’s usually a pretty decent idea to stick to the most common sites, just do some searches online and you’ll see several of the same names pop up many times.
However, promoting cam sites can be a bit tricky as lots of people are too embarrassed or timid to use them.
3. Adult dating sites
When people talk about adult dating, sites businesses like eHarmony and Match.com come to mind, but you can find countless more out there and lots of options to choose from.
The most popular of the ’sex search’ sites are Adult Friend Finder and Alt.com. These sites were created so people can easily hook up with others or in the case of alt.com, alternative lifestyle partners, i.e. BDSM, dom/sub, fetish, etc… There are also dating sites for just about every niche dating you can imagine from Christian dating sites to BBW, interracial and so on.
Programs such as these can do nicely on a variety of sites and ought to be considered.
4. Adult video sites
Adult video sites can earn money, but only if your website is really geared towards them, if not they’ll only drop the value of your website and I don’t particularly recommend promoting them.
So, reflect on promoting a few adult sites, think beyond the typical porn sites and you may be able to find a good method to add a bit of side income to your website.
