SmartAds allow you to include affiliate links in ads so this is where you can make money. Use affiliate networks such as Amazon Associates, which gives you commission for anybody who buys a product via your link, you can include such links within ads that you create.

Looks like a very user-friendly site, I'm taking it this is a new site? Like the idea about posting affiliate links, sounds like a decent way to potentially earn a bit of money.

Different from Gumtree. Gumtree doesn't let you post affiliate links, certainly not for free, anyway.
