Nielsen is one of the biggest market research companies in the world. Which is why they're happy to reward you with vouchers and products in return for you scanning your shopping.

How it works:

Register with Nielsen, and they will send you a free scanner through the post. Whenever you, or anyone in your household, buys something, all they ask if that you scan it and regularly upload the information to them.

I've shared this because it can be an easy way to make a bit of money / get free products. Although I'll be honest, I did it for a while and found it became quite tedious in the end. The points can take a while to build up, but you do get points for every week you take part.
